Samayabaji, commonly referred to as Newari Khaja set, is the national food of Newari people. It contains a number of wonderful components, each of which can be enjoyed on its own. Bean varieties, aalu, saag, chhoyela, eggs, achaar, and baji are all combined and served in a leaf bowl, or bota. The food that is served in Newari Khaja Set are:
